Mobile ordering for a national chain
A comprehensive ordering mini app for KFC Vietnam — menu browsing, online ordering, and store locator — serving millions of customers natively inside MoMo and Zalo.
KFC's customers already spend their day inside MoMo and Zalo — the wallet and messaging super-apps — but ordering still meant installing a separate app or queuing at the counter. The brief: put the complete ordering experience where customers already are, with no app-store install in the way, and make it feel native while running inside another platform's runtime and passing two different platform reviews.
A comprehensive ordering mini app for a national chain: browse the full menu, order online, manage delivery addresses, and find the nearest store — the whole journey from craving to checkout without ever leaving the wallet app. The same experience ships on both MoMo and Zalo, so the brand meets its customers on whichever platform they prefer.
Mini apps live inside another app's webview, so the performance budget is tighter than on the open web: the app keeps its payload lean so the menu renders instantly, and it rides each platform's own rails for identity, payments, and location instead of rebuilding them. That is what makes it feel native — the platform does what it is best at, and the app stays fast and focused on ordering.
The mini app serves millions of customers natively inside MoMo and Zalo, turning two super-app audiences into ordering channels for a national chain. For ISEMI it is a delivery-scale proof point: consumer UX shipped under a household brand's traffic, inside platform constraints, across two marketplaces at once.
